Sometimes life decides to take the decisions out of your hands. This is exactly what happened when I got the news that my friend Britta was planning to stop breeding Norwegians at very short notice.
One of our mutual plans concerned the colour silver. We breed for type and not for colour but you can combine one with the other, can’t you? 🙂
In the last von Beekhalf litter there was a granddaughter in the colour silver from a beautiful typey male named Fringe whose lines I had been fond of for a long time. Shortly decided, I received Britta’s present named Topsy.
Very sturdy, Topsy also impresses with her excellent coat quality, a long tail as well as a strong chin and well set ears with tufts.
The matings with Manitu, Tristan and Inti have shown that her lines can be combined very well and her weaker points which are the somewhat round triangle of the head and the size of the ears can be improved very well.
